Ohio Police Chase Suspect Through Golf Course Ends in Crash and Injuries

In Ohio, Julius Edwards, 39, from Canton, was arrested following a dramatic police chase involving gunfire, a minivan hijacking, and a high-speed drive through the Fox Den Golf Course. Edwards, wanted on suspicion of attempted murder, fired at a police officer during the pursuit, prompting the officer to return fire; fortunately, no one was hit by the gunfire.

Edwards then stole a minivan and continued fleeing until he collided with a park police vehicle, which overturned. Several people were seriously injured during the chase, and one officer sustained minor injuries. The incident is currently under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The chase shocked golfers and bystanders at the course, who witnessed the reckless driving and subsequent crash. Authorities have not released further details about the victims or the exact circumstances leading to the initial attempted murder charge against Edwards.
