Israeli Police Arrest Assassination Cell in Basmat Tivon Before Attack

Police officers from Kiryat Ata station identified a suspicious vehicle without license plates in a dirt parking lot in Basmat Tivon and set up an ambush. Near the vehicle, they spotted a group of masked individuals attempting to flee on foot. After a brief chase, three suspects, residents of Kafr Kanna, were apprehended. Authorities seized magazines from the suspects, and nearby they found a weapon believed to have been discarded during the escape. A search of the vehicle uncovered additional weapons and ammunition. The suspects were arrested and detained.
