Prime Minister Netanyahu Meets with Leading Chabad Rabbis from Florida

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a special and heartfelt meeting with a delegation of Chabad emissaries and leading community rabbis from Florida. The delegation, led by Chief Emissary Rabbi Benzion Korf and Rabbi Moshe Shilat, director of Chabad Young Adults in Israel, arrived in Israel this week. The group includes rabbis and emissaries working across the United States to strengthen Jewish identity and ties to Israel. Rabbi Korf emphasized that Chabad emissaries avoid political involvement, focusing instead on connecting Israel with all factions in the U.S. Congress regardless of political affiliation.

During the meeting, Netanyahu addressed the delegation, discussing the challenges facing Israel and expressing gratitude for their efforts supporting the Jewish people and Israel worldwide. Following Netanyahu's remarks, participants shared words of encouragement inspired by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Rabbis Benzion Korf, Moshe Shiner, and Pinchas Alush, a Chabad emissary from Arizona, spoke on current issues, faith, unity, and the importance of standing with Israel.

The meeting was initiated by Berl Krombi, a close associate of Netanyahu, who highlighted the influence of the Florida rabbis on key communities and their significant contributions to the Republican Party, Israel, and IDF-supporting organizations. Krombi noted that these community rabbis have collectively raised millions of dollars in recent years for IDF soldiers and Zionist projects. Rabbi Shilat thanked Krombi for facilitating the unique opportunity for direct dialogue between the Prime Minister and this central group of rabbis and emissaries active in American Jewish communities.
