Israeli Forces Continue Hunt, Eliminate Over 2,500 Terrorists In Gaza Operation

The Israeli military and Shin Bet's special task force Nili continue their relentless pursuit of terrorists involved in the brutal Sukkot massacre. Since the outbreak of Operation Iron Swords, the task force has eliminated four more militants this week, including Yahya Hamdan, the leader of a cell that attacked the Re'im camp on October 7. According to data published by Channel 12, a total of 2,561 Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants implicated in killings, rapes, and kidnappings in the Gaza vicinity have been killed so far. This figure includes approximately 1,000 terrorists killed during the intense fighting inside Israeli territory on October 7 and 8.

Despite these significant achievements, the mission is far from over. Shin Bet estimates that several hundred militants involved in the massacre remain at large. Israeli security officials emphasize that the ongoing manhunt is part of a deliberate operational and ethical decision by the state. Concurrently, behind-the-scenes negotiations are underway regarding the future governance of the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, Israel has decided to significantly reinforce its military presence in Gaza to increase pressure on Hamas and deepen the damage to the organization.
