Israeli Special Task Force Eliminates 2,561 October 7 Attack Militants, Hunt Continues
Since the October 7 massacre, the Israeli special task force Nili, established after the start of the Iron Swords war, has killed 2,561 militants involved in the killings, rapes, and kidnappings of thousands of Israelis in the Gaza envelope and surrounding areas. This week alone, four militants were eliminated, including Yahya Hamdan, the head of a squad that raided the Re'im camp on October 7 and participated in the massacre.
Nili's mission is to eliminate all militants involved in the October 7 raid into Israel. The total number of militants killed includes about 1,000 who were killed on Israeli soil during battles on October 7 and 8. According to Shin Bet estimates, several hundred militants who took part in the massacre remain at large, and the pursuit of them continues as part of Israel's operational and ethical decision.
Behind the scenes, negotiations are ongoing regarding the management of the Gaza Strip. Israel has decided to significantly reinforce its military forces in Gaza to strike Hamas more effectively. This policy shift aims to intensify efforts against Hamas following the October 7 attacks.
