PAOK Thessaloniki Nears Deals for Panathinaikos and Olympiacos Stars Ahead of New Season

PAOK Thessaloniki is positioning itself as one of Europe's most intriguing basketball teams for the upcoming season. Greek media reported on Saturday that PAOK is close to signing Panathinaikos star Jeddy Osman on a lucrative three-year contract worth 9 million euros, including a 2 million euro buyout. The team, coached by Andrea Trinchieri, has already added players like Nick Calathes, Marcus Foster, and Kyle Alexander.

Additionally, PAOK has targeted Tyler Dorsey from Olympiacos. Although Dorsey has a contract for the next season, he is seeking a salary increase. If Olympiacos does not meet his demands, PAOK may attempt to acquire him. Dorsey averaged 10.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game last season. Another Olympiacos guard, Thomas Walkup, might also leave after reportedly receiving a 3 million euro offer from Dubai. Olympiacos currently refuses to release him but may allow it if he insists on leaving.

Meanwhile, Fenerbahce officially signed Braxton Key, a standout from Valencia last season, and released Finnish forward Mikael Jantunen. PAOK's aggressive recruitment signals a significant reshaping of its roster as it aims to compete strongly in European basketball next season.
