Trump Administration Wants Israel to Avoid Involvement in Iran Conflict

CNN reported on Friday, citing Israeli sources, that the Trump administration does not want Israel to be involved in the current conflict with Iran. The U.S. president reportedly fears losing control over the situation. One source said, "Netanyahu would very much like to participate in the American strikes, but the Americans do not want Israel involved at this time."

The previous evening, Kan News reported that Israel desires to strike Iran but is awaiting approval from Trump. Additionally, the New York Post cited Israeli sources stating that Israel is ready to join future U.S. attacks on Iran if requested. One source told the newspaper, "We have proven we stand with the United States. I'm not sure it will be in their interest, but we understand we need to flex our muscles. We are ready to do so again if necessary."
