Moshik Afia Declines Hundreds of Thousands Over Fear of Flying

Moshik Afia, the Israeli singer currently experiencing a successful comeback, has turned down lucrative offers worth hundreds of thousands of dollars due to a severe fear of flying. Afia received proposals to perform at weddings abroad, including one in Beverly Hills and another in Monaco, but declined all despite the high fees. A couple from Los Angeles, fans of Afia's music, initially offered $150,000 for a performance at the Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills; after Afia refused, they increased the offer to $250,000, which he still declined. Another offer from Monaco was for $200,000, but Afia again refused because of his fear of flying. His representatives explained that he preferred to avoid the stress of traveling altogether rather than risk canceling after arriving at the airport. Afia's fear of flying was previously revealed during his participation in the music reality show "La La Land," where he withdrew at the last moment instead of boarding a flight to Los Angeles. Despite these challenges, Afia's music career remains active with recent performances at major venues such as Menora Hall and Sultan Pool, with more shows planned.
