Former Phoenix Forward Amir Coffey Signs With Hapoel Tel Aviv for $1.2 Million

Hapoel Tel Aviv announced on July 9, 2026, the signing of forward Amir Coffey for the 2026/27 basketball season. Coffey, 29 years old and 2.01 meters tall, will join the Israeli team after seven seasons in the NBA, marking his first professional experience in Europe. He previously played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Phoenix Suns.

During his NBA career, Coffey appeared in 369 regular-season games, averaging 6.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. He shot 52.8% on two-pointers and 38.2% on three-pointers. His contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv is reportedly worth $1.2 million.
