Israeli Man Charged with Sexual Assault and Filming of Two Minors in Modi'in Illit

The State Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against 19-year-old Haim Atis from Modi'in Illit for sexual offenses involving two minor brothers. According to the indictment submitted to the Central District Court in Lod, Atis noticed the two boys playing near his home, ran toward them, and grabbed one child. After the child kicked free, Atis seized the second boy. He then took the second child to the lower floor of a nearby building, where he stripped the boy's pants and underwear, laid him on the floor, and photographed his genitalia and buttocks. Atis left the scene immediately afterward but was apprehended by the minors' parents and bystanders, who called the police to the location.
