Seven-Year-Old Girl Dies After Being Hit by School Bus in New York's Monsey

A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday morning in Monsey, Rockland County, New York, where seven-year-old Blima Weber was fatally struck by a school bus. The incident took place around 9:00 a.m. local time on Blauvelt Street, a neighborhood with a large Orthodox Jewish community. Emergency responders, including police from the Ramapo station, paramedics, and local rescue volunteers, rushed to the scene.

Medical teams found the girl unconscious with severe injuries and performed prolonged advanced resuscitation efforts, but she was pronounced dead at the site. Blima was the daughter of Israel and Eti Weber, residents of the area. Local charitable organizations also arrived to support the family with medical and logistical arrangements.
