Two Men Indicted for Kidnapping and Assault Over Intimate Video Threat in Northern Israel
The Northern District Prosecutor's Office has filed indictments against two residents of Yafia, aged 19 and 20, charging them with kidnapping, aggravated robbery, threats, indecent acts, and aggravated assault. According to police investigations, the suspects arranged a meeting with the complainant, a young man from northern Israel, at a guest apartment in the Galilee. There, they allegedly assaulted, stripped, and handcuffed him while recording the entire incident.
The case reportedly stems from an intimate relationship the complainant had with a minor. After the minor sought to end the relationship, the complainant threatened to distribute intimate content stored on his mobile device. Subsequently, the minor contacted a friend who then reached out to the two suspects, leading to the confrontation and assault.
The prosecution's charges reflect the severity of the offenses, including the use of threats to coerce and the violent treatment of the complainant. The legal process is ongoing as authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the case.
