Israeli Religious School Students Get Free Access to 'Yomi' Torah Learning App This Summer
The State-Religious Education Administration (Chinuch HaMamlachti-Dati, or Chamad) in Israel is offering its students free full access to the digital Torah learning platform 'Yomi' throughout the summer vacation. This unprecedented initiative aims to provide parents peace of mind and children a meaningful, engaging summer filled with interactive Torah study.
'Yomi' is a revolutionary digital platform that breaks down traditional barriers to Torah learning by offering concise daily lessons lasting five to fifteen minutes. The app features clear explanations, instant definitions, and vivid visual aids including AI animations to simplify complex topics. It also tracks student progress, motivates learners with reminders, point accumulation, and valuable prizes through raffles held during the summer.
This summer program is especially timely given the educational disruptions caused by recent security events, including the war and Operation Roaring Lion, which interrupted regular school learning. Students like 14-year-old Yair and 10-year-old Avishag have reported transformative experiences with 'Yomi,' finding the material accessible, enjoyable, and motivating. They appreciate the app’s interactive quizzes, social learning features, and the ability to ask questions within the platform.
The free access will be distributed through Chamad’s educational institutions to ensure all students can maintain their Torah learning continuity, build confidence, and enter the new school year stronger and more connected to their heritage. Parents and students are encouraged to register immediately to take advantage of this unique summer opportunity.
