IDF Arrests 20 Suspects in Extensive Night Raids Across West Bank Including Jenin

The Israel Defense Forces conducted a large-scale overnight operation across the West Bank, targeting multiple locations in the Judea and Samaria region. The coordinated offensive involved dozens of raids on buildings, resulting in the arrest of 20 suspects linked to various security threats. Among those detained were Hamas operatives, a weapons dealer, an illegal migrant smuggler, and individuals suspected of planning terrorist attacks.

A key focus of the operation was in the Menashe Brigade area, where IDF forces conducted a special reconnaissance mission, searching over 50 buildings in the Jenin vicinity. Concurrently, active operations took place in other sectors. In the Judea Brigade zone, troops responded to gunfire heard in Hebron by arresting five suspects and interrogating dozens more.

In the Ephraim Brigade area, the IDF and Border Police collaborated in their efforts. In the Tulkarm region, four Hamas-affiliated suspects were arrested, alongside another individual suspected of incitement to terrorism in the village of Funduq. The operation reflects ongoing security efforts to disrupt militant activities and prevent planned attacks in the West Bank.

The IDF spokesperson released footage documenting the raids, highlighting the extensive and coordinated nature of the overnight campaign. Further investigations and security measures are expected as authorities continue to address threats in the area.
