Hapoel Be'er Sheva Considers Brazilian Defender Leo Bulgado to Strengthen Defense

Hapoel Be'er Sheva is actively working on assembling its squad for the 2026/27 season, which will include a long European campaign in one of UEFA's three competitions. The club is particularly focused on reinforcing its defense, specifically the center-back position. According to Sport 5, the name proposed to the team's coaching staff is 27-year-old Brazilian defender Leo Bulgado, currently playing for Romanian club CFR Cluj.

Bulgado spent the latter half of the previous season on loan at Rapid București, where he made 15 appearances, scored one goal, and provided one assist. Prior to his time in Romania, he played mainly in Portugal's second division with Leixões and also had a stint at Casa Pia. Hapoel Be'er Sheva is considering Bulgado as a potential addition to bolster their defensive line ahead of the upcoming season and European competitions.
