An Israeli delegation to Venezuela, including representatives from the Home Front Command of the IDF, met overnight with Venezuela's interim president, Delcy Rodriguez. During the meeting, the delegation presented a national rehabilitation plan for areas affected by the recent earthquake, developed in coordination with the local Ministry of Infrastructure. The long-term plan involves assessing approximately 1,300 buildings for repair or demolition, carrying out the demolition of hazardous structures, clearing large amounts of debris, and preparing evacuated zones for reconstruction. Currently, the earthquake has resulted in 3,685 fatalities and 16,740 injuries.
