Justin Smith Leaves Hapoel Jerusalem After Two Seasons, Joins Buducnost Montenegro
Justin Smith officially parted ways with Hapoel Jerusalem after two seasons, signing with Buducnost in Montenegro on July 7, 2026. The 27-year-old forward, standing 2.01 meters tall, completed his contract with the Israeli capital club and moved to the fifth team of his professional career.
Smith, originally from Illinois, concluded his three-year stint in Israel after joining Hapoel Holon in 2023 following an undrafted entry and previous play in the G League with Toronto and Philadelphia teams. After one season with Holon, he transferred to Hapoel Jerusalem in the summer of 2024.

In the most recent regular season, he averaged 14.1 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, with playoff averages dropping to 13 points and 3 rebounds per game.
