Edah HaChareidis closes all kollels, calls for “fierce protest, with self-sacrifice, at prison gates across the country”

In an unusual announcement this afternoon, members of the Edah HaChareidis Beit Din said that they should “take to the streets in protests, in a fierce battle with self-sacrifice, at the gates of the various prisons across the country, to stop the destroyer.”

Following the directive, all of the Edah’s kollels were closed, and avreichim went out to demonstrate in Jerusalem against the arrest of yeshiva students and conscription into the IDF.
