Bus Driver in Holon Helps Police Arrest Illegal Teen Suspected of Car Theft

A bus driver in Holon noticed a passenger acting suspiciously and alerted police, leading to the arrest of a 16-year-old illegal resident suspected of stealing a car earlier that day. The incident occurred during a police operation on Malacha Street in Holon. The driver signaled a passing police vehicle to stop after observing the passenger's nervous behavior, including mumbling and restless movements. Upon police questioning, the teen, who had no identification, was found to be an illegal resident from the West Bank.

Further investigation revealed the suspect's alleged involvement in a car theft on Highway 4 that morning, from which he had initially escaped. The teen was detained and taken for questioning at the Holon police station. Authorities stated they plan to request an extension of his detention in court based on the investigation's findings.
