Hassan Hilu Offered to Maccabi Netanya After Loan at Bnei Sakhnin
Hassan Hilu, an Israeli central defender currently under contract with Japanese club Jubilo Iwata, has been proposed to Maccabi Netanya as the team looks to strengthen its defense. Hilu recently completed a loan season at Bnei Sakhnin in the Israeli Premier League and has returned to Jubilo Iwata, where he made nine appearances before his loan. With one year remaining on his contract in Japan, Hilu is seeking to return to Israel and continue playing in the Premier League.
Maccabi Netanya's coaching staff is interested in adding an Israeli defender alongside their foreign center-back and is expected to make a decision regarding Hilu in the coming days. So far, Netanya has signed Dor Hugy, Grigory Morozov, and Alon Azugi ahead of the new season. Hilu, who grew up in Bnei Sakhnin and had a previous loan spell at Bnei Reineh, is now a candidate to join Netanya as they aim to bolster their squad.
