Hassan Hilo Offered to Maccabi Netanya After Loan at Bnei Sakhnin
Hassan Hilo, an Israeli central defender currently under contract with Japanese club Jubilo Iwata, has been proposed to Maccabi Netanya as the team looks to strengthen its defense. Hilo recently completed a loan season at Bnei Sakhnin in the Israeli Premier League and is seeking a new club for the upcoming season. Maccabi Netanya's coaching staff is interested in adding an Israeli center-back alongside a foreign defender and will make a decision regarding Hilo in the coming days.
Hilo, who grew up at Bnei Sakhnin, also spent time on loan at Bnei Reineh before moving to Jubilo Iwata. He made nine appearances for the Japanese side before returning to Israel on loan. With one year remaining on his contract in Japan, Hilo is aiming to continue his career in the Israeli Premier League. So far, Maccabi Netanya has signed Dor Hugy, Grigori Morozov, and Alon Azugi as part of their squad reinforcement.
The club is evaluating its options to finalize its roster ahead of the new season, with Hilo's potential signing pending a final decision.
