Israeli Forces Rescue 10 Israelis Who Entered Palestinian City of Qalqilya Intentionally
On Monday, Israeli Border Police and IDF forces rescued 10 Israeli civilians who deliberately entered the Palestinian city of Qalqilya in the West Bank's Ephraim Brigade area. The incident began when a report was received about several Israelis entering the city. Security forces promptly arrived, made contact with the individuals, located them, and safely extracted them from the area.
Simultaneously, the Civil Administration reported that one Israeli entered Qalqilya following the theft of his motorcycle. Upon arrival, he was surrounded by local residents and refused to leave, stating in a phone conversation with officers that he was "not willing to leave the city without his stolen motorcycle." The information was relayed to the IDF and regional brigade forces, who then conducted a rescue operation to bring him out safely.
It was noted that this individual is known to security forces and had been rescued just the previous Saturday after entering Qalqilya. The IDF emphasized that entry into Area A territories is prohibited and dangerous for Israelis and constitutes a legal offense.
