Protester Gonen Ben Yitzhak Admits Large Funds Fueled Anti-Netanyahu Demonstrations

Gonen Ben Yitzhak, a prominent activist in the protests against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the judicial reform, acknowledged in a radio interview on 103fm that one of the issues with the left-wing protests was the involvement of substantial financial resources. He revealed that the protest movement handled approximately 250 million shekels. Ben Yitzhak, who served 10 years in the Shin Bet security service and currently represents protesters in court, emphasized his commitment to preventing violence, stating that if he learns of any plan to harm Netanyahu or his family, he would report it to the Shin Bet without hesitation.

Previously, Ben Yitzhak was asked if he feared that protesters might escalate their hatred toward Netanyahu into violent actions. His response highlighted his dual role as both a former security operative and an active protest participant. Meanwhile, journalist Amnon Abramovich declined to engage with the controversy surrounding Channel 12 news coverage related to the protests.
