Police Open Fire on Suspected Vehicle in Arara, Negev, Injuring Five Men
A rare incident occurred Monday morning in the Negev town of Arara when police opened fire on a suspicious vehicle approaching their forces. The vehicle allegedly fired shots at another car before advancing toward the officers. Five men were injured in the exchange, and three of them were subsequently arrested for further investigation. During a search of the suspect vehicle, police found a handgun and ammunition magazines. Southern District Commander Chief Superintendent Haim Bublil conducted a situation assessment at the scene. Security forces continue efforts to restore order in the area.
