Two people were killed in Wadi Ara within hours of each other: a man in his 30s was shot dead overnight, between Sunday and Monday, in Musheirfa in Ma'ale Iron, just hours after another man in his 30s was shot dead in nearby Kafr Qara. MDA teams called to both scenes pronounced the victims dead at the scene.

MDA paramedic Sohaib Mahajneh and medic Ahmed Mahajneh said from the Musheirfa scene: “We saw a man about 30 years old unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing, with severe penetrating injuries to his body. We carried out medical examinations, but unfortunately his injuries were significant and all we could do was pronounce him dead.”

MDA medics Salim Saad, Fadi Kabha and Salah Agbariyya said from the Kafr Qara scene: “We saw the injured man lying on the ground unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing, with severe gunshot wounds to his body. We carried out medical examinations, but unfortunately his injuries were significant and all we could do was pronounce him dead.”

On Saturday, Frid Mazlabat, a young man in his 20s, was shot dead in the city of Maghar in the Lower Galilee. MDA teams that arrived at the scene carried out resuscitation efforts, but were forced to pronounce him dead there. Police opened an investigation, and the background is criminal.

Last Thursday, three people were killed in two separate incidents within about an hour. In Yafa an-Naseriyye, police opened an investigation into suspicion of a double murder after two brothers in their 20s were shot dead in the village near Nazareth, and about an hour later, Malek Marakian, about 50, was shot dead in Tamra in the Lower Galilee.
