17-Year-Old Boy Collapses at Yeshiva in Rehovot, Undergoes CPR En Route to Hospital
A 17-year-old boy named Ziv Moshe Ben Meir collapsed this evening while at a yeshiva in Rehovot. Emergency responders from the Hatzalah organization were called to the scene after reports that the boy had lost consciousness. Upon arrival, the rescuers found him unresponsive, without pulse or breathing.
Together with Magen David Adom teams, the responders administered advanced life-saving treatment, including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and electric shocks using a defibrillator. The boy was transported to Kaplan Medical Center's shock room while resuscitation efforts continued.
Hatzalah urged the public to pray for Ziv Moshe's recovery, joining prayers for all the sick in Israel.
