Israeli Health Ministry Warns Against Consuming Fake 'Santa Olives' Product

The Israeli Ministry of Health has issued a public warning against consuming the product "Santa Olives," allegedly produced by "Shimurei HaSharon Kfar Qara," following routine food supervision activities. The Ministry revealed that the manufacturer is not registered with the Health Ministry, and the source of the olives is unknown. This warning applies to all expiration dates and package sizes of the product currently on the market.

The Ministry urged consumers to avoid purchasing or consuming food products from unidentified or non-compliant sources and recommended buying only from authorized and recognized distributors. The Food Service of the Ministry of Health will continue its inspection efforts to detect food fraud cases. Authorities emphasized that any violation of legal and regulatory requirements will result in enforcement actions in cooperation with all relevant agencies.

A Ministry spokesperson stated, "The Food Service will continue to investigate and identify cases of food fraud. If violations of Israeli legislation and standards are found, all available measures will be taken in coordination with the responsible authorities."
