Israeli Health Ministry Warns Public Against Fake 'Santa' Brand Olives

The Israeli Ministry of Health has issued a public warning against consuming "Santa" brand olives produced by Shimurei HaSharon in Kafr Qara. This alert follows routine inspections by the Ministry's Food Service, which revealed that the manufacturer is not registered with the Ministry and the source of the olives is unknown. The warning applies to all expiration dates and packaging variants currently in circulation.

The Ministry cautions consumers against purchasing food products from unidentified or non-compliant sources and urges the public to buy only from authorized distributors and recognized suppliers. The Food Service will continue to monitor and identify cases of food fraud. Should any violations of Israeli food legislation and standards be found, the Ministry will take all necessary enforcement actions in coordination with relevant authorities.
