Organs of 17-Year-Old Hifa Shooting Victim Save Six Lives Through Transplantation

The National Transplant Center announced that the family of Wiam Faisal, a 17-year-old who was fatally shot in Haifa, chose to donate his organs, providing new life opportunities for six patients. The family expressed that despite their immense grief, consenting to the donation offers them some comfort knowing their beloved son gave hope and life to others. The successfully transplanted organs included a heart to a 67-year-old man, a liver to a 60-year-old man, a liver lobe to a 3-year-old girl, a kidney to a 15-year-old boy, lungs to a 65-year-old woman, and both a kidney and pancreas to a 42-year-old man.
