Fitness Influencer Sparks Outrage After Exercising in Airplane Aisle During Flight
Fitness influencer and stretch therapist Rosa.Adventures caused a major stir on social media after posting a video of herself exercising in the narrow aisle of a commercial airplane. The video, which has garnered hundreds of thousands of views on Instagram, shows her performing squats, stretches, headstands, and cartwheels mid-flight while other passengers appear visibly uncomfortable and try to ignore her.
In her post, Rosa wrote, "Long flight? I choose movement," adding that whether on the ground or at 35,000 feet, she can confidently move her body. However, many viewers criticized her behavior, calling it attention-seeking and intrusive. Some commenters hoped the video was staged, while others complained about the loss of personal space on flights. Comparisons were made to football player Russell Wilson, who faced similar backlash for exercising on a plane.
Supporters defended Rosa, saying her actions were harmless as long as she did not disturb others. Rosa responded bluntly to critics, stating that both the flight crew and passengers were fine with her exercises and that the video brought her significant business. She also clarified that her routine was mobility training, not yoga, emphasizing her six years of experience working with professional athletes. She urged detractors to stop being jealous and to start exercising themselves instead.
