Head coach Dimitris Itoudis addressed the issue, saying: “We need to place emphasis on Tomer, who is doing everything to get back to playing, that is not something to take for granted. He did not train for a long time and came back, in a ‘boom,’ to the intensity of the playoffs. He is doing everything to be with the team, and that is not something to take for granted.”

George Hinas added: “He is sacrificing for the team when he is not at 100 percent. Not all players would do that.”

At Hapoel Tel Aviv, they note that the workload and intensity of the playoff games make it difficult for a player returning from a prolonged injury, but Ginat continues to try to contribute as much as possible despite his fitness limitations and the little time he had to get back to full game rhythm.
