Reserve Colonel Ofir Levi Appointed Deputy Head of Israel's National Security Council

The Israeli government approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's proposal to appoint Reserve Colonel Ofir Levi as the new deputy head of the National Security Council. The recommendation came from the current National Security Council head, Shmuel Ben Ezra. Levi will replace Gil Reich, who has completed his term in the position. The appointment is set for a five-year term, with the possibility of extensions, provided the total tenure does not exceed ten years.
