Joey Chestnut Wins 18th Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest Amid Heat Challenges

Joey Chestnut secured his 18th victory at the annual Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest in the United States. Known as the nearly undisputed world champion, Chestnut holds the record of consuming 76 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes. Last year, he won with 70.5 hot dogs, but this year he managed 66, attributing the lower count to the intense heat during the competition. Alongside him, Miki Sudo claimed her 12th win in the women's category, maintaining her record with 51 hot dogs eaten.
