Students at Oz VeHadar Yeshiva Complete 400 Pages of Talmud in Major Quiz

At the Oz VeHadar Yeshiva, a national religious small yeshiva in Hadera, students recently participated in a comprehensive Talmud quiz covering approximately 400 pages from four tractates: Kiddushin, Gittin, Bava Kama, and Pesachim. The quiz was conducted in a group format to emphasize the value of collaborative learning. Students prepared throughout the year, culminating in intensive review sessions during the final week, which included study, singing, dancing, and a festive atmosphere.

The event was attended by rabbis and public figures, including Rabbi Matanya Ariel, head of the Derech Chaim Yeshiva, and Rabbi Itiel Bar-Levi, head of the Jewish Culture Division. The guest of honor was Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, Chief Rabbi of Safed, who addressed the students, stating, "There are things only pilots can do, things only the Shin Bet can do, things only the Mossad can do, but there are things only you, the yeshiva students, can do." He emphasized the special privilege of standing in this generation and contributing spirit to Israel's great economic and security successes.

The event concluded with dancing by the yeshiva rabbis and students, celebrating their achievement and the communal spirit fostered by the study and quiz.
