Alex Musonda Signs Two-Year Deal with Hapoel Petah Tikva After Loan
Alex Musonda has signed a two-year contract with Hapoel Petah Tikva following his loan spell that began in January. Cypriot club Aris Limassol agreed to release the 25-year-old defender for free to the Israeli club, where he played 13 matches, including nine in the top playoff. Musonda is expected to join the team’s training camp in Bulgaria soon and will earn approximately $150,000 per season.
Musonda previously played for French club Caen before moving to Limassol in 2021. His performances during the loan period made him a key player for Hapoel Petah Tikva. Alongside Musonda, the club has also signed several other players, including Roy Sasson on loan from Beitar Jerusalem, Stav Israeli from Bnei Yehuda, Tedros Damalash from Hapoel Ramat Hasharon, Harel Shalom and Guy Badash from Hapoel Jerusalem, Karim Kimbidi from the Orlando Pirates, Yazan Nasser from Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Avishi Cohen from M.S. Ashdod.
