Alex Musonda Signs Two-Year Deal with Hapoel Petah Tikva After Loan Spell
Alex Musonda has signed a two-year contract with Hapoel Petah Tikva following his loan spell at the club that began in January. Cypriot club Aris Limassol agreed to release the 25-year-old defender on a free transfer to Hapoel Petah Tikva, where he is expected to join the team's training camp in Bulgaria soon. Musonda will earn approximately $150,000 per season.
Musonda played 13 matches for Hapoel Petah Tikva during his loan, including nine in the top playoff, establishing himself as an important player. Prior to joining Limassol in 2021, he played for French club Caen. Alongside Musonda, Hapoel Petah Tikva has also strengthened its squad by acquiring Roy Sasson on loan from Beitar Jerusalem, Stavi Israeli from Bnei Yehuda, Tedros Damalash from Hapoel Ramat Hasharon, Harel Shalom and Guy Badash from Hapoel Jerusalem, Karim Kimbidi from Orlando Pirates, Yazan Nasser from Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Avishi Cohen from M.S. Ashdod.
