Israel Significantly Expands Ground Control in Gaza, Advances 'Yellow Line'

The London-based Arabic newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat reported that Israel has significantly expanded its ground control within the Gaza Strip. According to four sources on the ground cited by the paper, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have advanced the so-called "yellow line" deeper into Gaza territory. The IDF is now operating across nearly all areas of the Gaza Strip, from Khan Yunis in the south to Jabalia in the north. In most regions, Israeli forces have progressed up to Salah al-Din Road, which runs longitudinally through the Gaza Strip.
