Israeli Police Vehicle Hits Minor in Tayibe; Child in Modiin Illit Dies After Bus Accident

On Friday, a minor was struck by a police vehicle during an operational activity by Tayibe police officers. According to initial reports, the child suddenly entered the road from a vehicle he was traveling in, resulting in the police car hitting him. Officers provided first aid at the scene and summoned medical teams. The minor was taken to a medical center in mild condition, according to medical sources. The police stated that the circumstances of the incident are under investigation.

Separately, on the previous day, a nine-year-old boy named Moshe Galinsky was fatally hit by a bus in Modiin Illit. The child suffered multiple severe injuries, and despite emergency medical efforts, his death was confirmed at the scene. Senior paramedics Yedidya Hachmon and Moshe Koperman reported that the boy was unconscious, without pulse or breathing, and had extensive trauma. Preliminary investigation revealed that Moshe was returning home from a Talmud Torah school and was crossing at a pedestrian crossing when the accident occurred. Road accident investigators from the Judea and Samaria district have begun examining the circumstances of the fatal crash.
