The madness begins tonight, Thursday. The 2026 World Cup will be the biggest ever, with 12 groups, 48 teams and no fewer than 24 matches in the opening round, which gets underway at 22:00 with the host nation Mexico facing South Africa. On this exciting occasion, we have gathered for you all the projected lineups for the first-round matches in the group stage. Please note that the transfer window in Bank Yahav and Sport Channel’s World Cup fantasy game will close half an hour before the start of the first match in each round, meaning tonight at 21:30.
