Chabad Trains 200 New Educators as 'Education Emissaries' to Strengthen Schools Nationwide

Amid a widespread teaching shortage in both the general and ultra-Orthodox communities, Chabad has successfully trained 200 new educators who will join its educational institutions across Israel. These educators, referred to as 'education emissaries,' completed a comprehensive training program under the Chabad education network 'Oholei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch.' The program combines professional pedagogical skills with a strong spiritual foundation, inspired by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, emphasizing the role of educators as emissaries rather than mere teachers.

The training initiative is considered a significant investment in the Hasidic Torah world, aiming to prepare young scholars not only with teaching expertise but also with a deep personal commitment to their students' spiritual futures. The graduation ceremony was attended by prominent rabbis, yeshiva heads, and public figures, highlighting the educational challenges of the current era.

The keynote speaker, Rabbi Chaim Yitzchak Isaac Landa, the chief rabbi of Bnei Brak, stressed the importance of fear of Heaven as the foundation for pedagogical success. Other speakers included Rabbi Menachem Mendel Gluchovsky, a member of the Chabad rabbinical court and community leader in Rehovot, Rabbi Naftali Roth from the education committee, and Rabbi Eliyahu Kritchvesky, CEO of the education network. They praised the young scholars' readiness to take on educational responsibilities and emphasized that proper, professional training is key to preventing student dropout and building the next generation.

Within Chabad communities, the addition of nearly 200 young educators is seen as a vital boost, bringing energetic and well-prepared personnel equipped to address contemporary challenges while maintaining strict adherence to pure educational values.
