Ironi Tiberias is preparing for its third consecutive season in Israel's Premier League and is actively strengthening its squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. On July 1, 2026, the club announced the signing of Guy Sankar, who was named the discovery of the season in the National League and finished as the top assist provider with 16 assists last season at M.S. Kiryat Yam. Sankar signed a two-year contract with an option for a third year.

Simultaneously, Ironi Tiberias is in advanced negotiations with defender Ziv Morgan, offering him a one-year contract with an option for an additional season. The club hopes to finalize the deal soon, although no agreement has been signed yet. Morgan is primarily expected to play as a center-back, despite also being capable of playing left-back, a position currently held by Gal Ma'atok and Guy Sankar.
