Maccabi Haifa Sells Kees de Boer to Sabah After Loan Spell
Maccabi Haifa officially announced the sale of winger Kees de Boer to Sabah, the Azerbaijani league champions, on July 1, 2026. De Boer, who signed a three-year contract with Haifa two years ago, spent much of the previous season on loan at Portuguese club Casa Pia. During his time with Maccabi Haifa, the Dutch winger, who also holds Curaçaoan citizenship, appeared in 29 matches, scoring six goals and providing one assist. He made four appearances in the last season before being loaned out early in the campaign. This transfer marks the end of his tenure with the Israeli club after two years.
