First Hotel Planned for the Krayot With Rooftop Pool and Spa

The Krayot are getting their first hotel, called Eden Park, which will be built in Kiryat Motzkin. Mamesh Hotels, part of the Sheetrit Group, a real estate company owned by businessman Shalom Shitrit, who founded the Kedem Hotel in Tira Carmel, will build the hotel in Kiryat Motzkin at an investment of about 55 million shekels.

The hotel, which will cover about 7,500 square meters, will include about 100 rooms, including family-friendly rooms, along with a rooftop pool and spa. The project recently received a building permit, after winning a tender from the Israel Land Authority (ILA) about a year ago, and completion is expected in 2029. The hotel is also planned to include balconies with a total area of about 1,500 square meters.

The Sheetrit Group is currently building the Zamarin Winery project in Zikhron Ya'akov, which includes a new winery, a visitor center and an accommodation and commercial complex. The hotel in Kiryat Motzkin is located near the zoo and the Motzkin Theater.

According to Shitrit, the hotel is planned as a mixed-use complex aimed at becoming a family destination, while during the week it will also focus on business activity, with large conference and event halls. In addition, the hotel is expected to include dedicated suites for bridal preparations and a business floor that will serve, among other things, demand from companies in the area.

He said the hotel’s location offers easy access to major attractions in the north, from the Galilee to the beaches, making it a base for excursions. "We like to do pioneering things, like the Kedem Hotel we opened in Tira Carmel. At the time, some raised their eyebrows, and today it is one of the most successful hotels in the country," Shitrit said. "We are not far from Rafael, which has a constant demand for 30 rooms a day, so we will establish a unique business floor."
