General's Party? The Candidate Eizenkot Is Considering for His List
Former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot, in Kibbutz Revadim / Maariv
In the "Yashar!" party led by Gadi Eizenkot, there are discussions about the possibility of adding Reserve Maj. Gen. Kamil Abu Rokon to the list as the representative of the Druze community. According to people familiar with the details, Abu Rokon and Eizenkot are in regular contact. The two worked together during their service in the IDF, including when Rokon served as Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories during the period when Eizenkot was Chief of Staff.
If he is added, Abu Rokon would join a line of security figures identified with the party, including Reserve Maj. Gen. Tal Russo, one of its founders and its reserve affairs project manager, as well as Reserve Col. Matan Kahana.
Kamil Abu Rokon is promoted to the rank of major general and appointed Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories / IDF Spokesperson
The "Yashar!" party with Eizenkot will present an attractive list that includes a diverse range of excellent women and men focused on action in Israel, with 50% men, 50% women and 30% young people in every ten slots. We are pleased that the formation of the list is generating great interest, but at this stage we are not providing details beyond the names that have been published.
