Beitar Jerusalem Prepares for European Matches with Squad Updates and Transfer Talks

Beitar Jerusalem has embarked on its preseason training camp in Bulgaria with a 26-player squad as it gears up for upcoming European fixtures. The team aims to be fully prepared for the "European game" against Hapoel Tel Aviv and the two Conference League qualifying matches against AEK Larnaca from Cyprus. Among the squad is midfielder Adi Yona, who continues his rehabilitation and is expected to return to play in about six weeks.

The club is closely monitoring the conditions of Tomer Yosefi and Omer Atzili, who have been following individualized training programs. Atzili is anticipated to resume full training as early as the next day, with both players expected to be fit for the start of the European matches. Meanwhile, transfer discussions are ongoing, notably with Romanian club Dinamo Bucharest expressing interest in signing midfielder Ailson Tavares. However, Dinamo is only willing to cover Tavares's salary, while Beitar demands a transfer fee. Other Israeli clubs, including Hapoel Haifa, Hapoel Ramat Gan, Ironi Tiberias, and Hapoel Jerusalem, have also shown interest in Tavares but prefer a free transfer.

Additionally, Jan Yusupov is set to continue for another season with Ironi Modi'in in the National League, and Jan Shikot is expected to go out on loan, with interest from both Ironi Modi'in and Kiryat Gat. The club continues to balance squad preparations with transfer market activity as the new season approaches.
