Hapoel Ramat Gan-Givatayim Kicks Off 2026/27 Season Preparations with New Signings

Hapoel Ramat Gan-Givatayim officially began preparations for the 2026/27 season on Tuesday with their first training session held at the National Teams Complex in Shefayim, which also serves as a training ground for Israeli national teams. The club will continue training there temporarily until their new training facility near the former National Stadium is completed, expected within two months.

The coaching staff, led by head coach Massai Dago and his assistants including Shmuel Shayman, Tomer Hazut, goalkeeper coach Ido Nehoshtai, and fitness coaches Almog Kushnir and Mor Cohen, participated alongside the evolving player roster. New signings such as Maksim Plokhuchenko from Maccabi Netanya and Idan Barness from Hapoel Tel Aviv were present. The club plans to announce additional Israeli and foreign player signings in the coming days.

Beyond on-field preparations, the club's management is advancing significant off-field projects. Construction of the new training complex is underway and expected to finish soon. Additionally, the club is finalizing arrangements regarding their home stadium, with a resolution anticipated shortly. After continuing training in Israel, the team will travel to Austria for a training camp to complete their professional preparations ahead of the season start.
