16-Year-Old Boy Charged with Attempted Rape and Assault in Netivot Promenade

The Southern District Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against a 16-year-old boy from Beersheba for attempting to rape a woman walking along the promenade in Netivot. According to the indictment, the incident occurred several weeks ago when the teenager followed the woman, attacked her from behind, dragged her into bushes, and tried to force her into a sexual act. The victim struggled and managed to free herself from his grip, but the accused continued to demand her cooperation. After she refused, he assaulted her again, causing injuries before fleeing the scene.
