13-Year-Old Severely Injured After Falling From Wooden Structure During Youth Movement Activity
A 13-year-old boy was seriously injured on Tuesday after falling approximately two meters from a wooden structure during a youth movement activity in the Hof HaCarmel Regional Council area. The incident was reported to Magen David Adom's emergency line at 16:18, prompting immediate dispatch of medical teams to the scene.
Paramedics found the boy conscious but suffering from significant multi-system trauma due to the fall. After providing initial treatment and stabilizing his condition, he was transported by ambulance to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, where his condition was classified as serious.
Senior paramedics Jorge Gafter, Yossi Azulai from the motorcycle unit, and medic Talia Sade described arriving to find several frightened youths surrounding the injured boy. They confirmed the fall occurred from a wooden structure about two meters high during the youth movement event.
