Father of Mustafa Abu Lisan Urges Jaffa Youth to Embrace Islam and Reject Violence
Hundreds of residents in Jaffa attended the funeral of Mustafa Abu Lisan, who was killed in a car explosion in Holon. Mustafa's father, Sheikh Naeem Abu Lisan, addressed the crowd during the funeral on Monday, calling on the youth of Jaffa to return to the Islamic faith, maintain regular prayer, and distance themselves from violence and bloodshed. Sheikh Naeem expressed acceptance of Allah's decree regarding his son's death and stated he does not wish to know who was responsible or the motives behind the killing. He emphasized to the Muslim community in Jaffa the importance of prayer and fear of Allah as foundations for individual and societal well-being. Since the beginning of 2026, approximately 142 Arab citizens in Israel have been killed in incidents related to violence and crime. The Higher Follow-Up Committee for Arab Citizens of Israel holds the Arab sector responsible for the ongoing violence and murders.
