Israeli Supreme Court Rules State Comptroller Overstepped Authority in Some October 7 Reports
The Israeli Supreme Court ruled that the State Comptroller exceeded his authority in parts of the reports concerning the October 7 massacre. Following the ruling, the Comptroller's Office announced it will complete four ongoing audits, including those on the licensing and security of the Nova party and the protection of southern cities, and publish their findings. However, work on four additional audits related to the events will be halted. The office emphasized that over the past year it has published more than 40 reports revealing significant gaps in the preparedness of both the political and military systems. It also stated that four more serious reports will be released tomorrow.
